Group sound baths
Group Sound Baths: £20 (£14 concession)
A sound bath is a deeply therapeutic, gentle and powerful experience, where your mind and body are both fully immersed in the healing sounds and aligned with spirit.
A sound bath is best enjoyed lying down, but you can sit if that’s easier. It’s nice to have something cosy to lie/sit on and a warm blanket to cover yourself with, or to wrap around you. You may like to use an eye mask or a scarf to cover your eyes, but this isn’t necessary.
I start by bringing your attention to the breath, with a short, gentle guided meditation. Then as the sound bath starts, all you need to do is relax and let the different sounds and frequencies flow over, and wash through you.
I weave healing sounds and tones organically and intuitively using a variety of instruments including three Nepalese singing gongs, an Oetken Metatron gong, Burmese spinning gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, a shruti box, shamanic drums and my voice.
As you surrender to the sound bath your brain waves will automatically slow down, shifting you from a state of activity to a state of deep relaxation.
The sounds take you on a journey of self-healing and discovery, inviting you to dive into a deeper state of consciousness, helping you to go inwards and gain clarity on what’s going on for you, both internally and externally.
A sound bath lasts around an hour with a period of complete stillness at the end of about 5 minutes. This allows for the experience to start fully grounding into your body and begin the integration phase.
There is an invitation to stay behind afterwards for tea and light snacks to help ground the session.
I do at least 4 group sound baths every month.

“With the beautifully calm space for the sound bath instantly starting to relax my busy mind I settled down to Giles’ entrancing chanting. I was guided on a journey to a place of deepest serenity by the magical sounds and vibrations of the singing bowls harmonising with each other. At the end of my journey I felt utterly at one with the world. I left the session on a high and I have already been back and will return for more! Thank you.”

“I found Giles to be a gifted conduit who bridged a connection between us and that which is greater than us. His whole being opened up to produce such moving overtone chants, sounds that were crafted with the help of an array of beautiful instruments. This intuitive journey transported me into a deep state of relaxation that I’ve seldom experienced. I have no doubt the warm, open-hearted reception, the comfortable, intimate and carefully prepared space and the beautiful closing of the session contributed to the deep sense of belonging. Thank you so much Giles for sharing your precious gifts with us.”

“I have been on some personal sound baths and group sessions with Giles. His sound sessions are the best I have been to. The deep vibrations from his amazing voice and various beautiful instruments put you in a deep, relaxing state, and sometimes even sleep. The small group sessions are set in a warm, comfortable and cosy room with candlelight, creating a perfect atmosphere for ‘letting go’ and enjoying the stillness within. A wonderful experience to be repeated over and over again. Thank you Giles for sharing your gift with us.”

“I have been going to Giles’ sound baths since he started offering them. They are honestly the best I’ve been to and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else now. I love the mix of his voice and the instruments, every time it is different and always so powerful. The environment is very welcoming and comfortable and the invitation to stay afterwards for tea and kheer (which is awesome!) is so lovely and grounding. I am so grateful to Giles for offering this beautiful healing experience.”

“I have experienced sound baths with Mountain Bear on two occasions. Both times have been a sensory delight which allowed me to disconnect for a while and get lost in the sounds around me. The different frequency of sounds takes me on a journey of both the comfortable and uncomfortable. I was left feeling grounded, connected and at peace. I would certainly recommend it to anybody, especially those who require stillness and connection.”
